for the super awesome performance!!! The greatest show in this end of the year!


Tonight I feel like the happiest person in the world. Thanks for all the memories, skills, and togetherness we've been built while preparing the show. I've never seen a group this super multitalented. I'll be missing every single thing we've got through. Hopefully, this togetherness will never last. I have had the sweetest memories with you all, Britniners. I'll never forget this day till the end of my life. :)

Pagelaran Bali Kui 2011

What a Balinese satnight last night was!

I and six others went to see a show in ITB (Bandung Technology Institute) called Pagelaran Bali Kui. The show tells about the world being affected by outbreaks of disease. Wisnu the God comes to the world as Barong to save the people from the disease which apparently is caused by Rangda, the demon queen. So the Barong fights Rangda and he wins. The story was performed in Balinese dances.

And I knew its setting would be awesome, so Baliiii! I already saw it before seeing the show on twitter posted by Tesla Manaf himself :

Aah yes, the guest star was Tesla Manaf Effendi. He is an artist of the capital. He, brought his band, played  instrumental music collaborating with ITB's MGG. What an awesome traditional-modern collaboration, you should see the performance yourself! I envied too much with what this campus had created so far. Listen to the music  :

Overall performance was extraordinary, I couldn't take my eyes off of the group of people playing gamelan. They're incredible, honestly. But (yes, there's always a but), I think the dancers danced not so compactly. It was unfortunate, but actually it didn't matter much with the setting, costumes, musics all out and majestic like that. I'm serious, it was all covered by other much gerater things. Good Job! :))


This wasn't all about last night in ITB. TransTV was having Job Vaganza Fiesta there. Take a look at the booths :

The booths include Trans Studio, Trans7, The Coffe Bean, Finance, Jika Aku Menjadi Casting, and many others. Sorry for the not-so-good quality of the videos and photos, it was night and I used my phone with 2MP camera to record and capture. :)

INAFF 2010 26-28 November

Well dari tiga hari itu yang kerennya adalah 3 hari, 3 film dalam 3 genre yang berbeda. Itu kerasa banget perbedaan genrenya mengingat jarak nonton dari satu film ke film yang lainnya tuh Cuma 24 jam bahkan mungkin kurang.

Jumat, 26 November: The Disappearance of Alice Creed

Ini film thriller tentang penculikan Alice Creed yang diperankan oleh Gemma Artenton. Lumayan enjoy nonton film ini. Ada twistnya. Filmnya serius tapi enak ditonton.

Sabtu, 27 November: Surprise movie (Dreamhome)

Ugh, film hongkong yang satu ini nggak gue banget. Pembunuhan kejam, darah dimana - mana, usus, hati, semua jeroan ditampilkan. Dan walau jeroan udah berceceran masih aja idup, buset dah.. And this is so adult. You guys under 18 are forbidden. :P

Minggu, 28 November: Time Traveller, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Ini film Jepang bikin nangis loh :') But it's a sci-fi movie! I always love science fiction, it usually represents modernity. So

this one is the best! :P

Dari judulnya yang panjang itu pun pasti udah taulah ceritanya tentang apa. Well for addition, ada sentuhan cintanya dan di sini kita disuguhi secara visual perbandingan antara jaman dulu, jaman sekarang, dan jaman yang akan datang. :)
